The couple's four children were reportedly in the apartment at the time of the shootings and one actually witnessed the father shoot the mother. The man was dead by the time police officers arrived. The wife was taken to Memorial Hermann hospital by Life Flight. She was reportedly in serious condition.
Neighbors are said to be looking after the children for now.
