Houstonians will get to say their final farewell to I.W. Marks. The local business and philanthropic icon died Tuesday after a long battle with cancer. Marks was most recognized for the ads he did for his family-run jewelry stores.

The 73-year-old donated lots of his money and time supporting local arts organizations, including the Houston Grand Opera and the Houston Ballet. His funeral was held this morning at Congregation Beth Israel at 11am.
