Driver rescued after being pinned in SUV

HOUSTON Police say the driver of a Ford Explorer was speeding on the North Loop when he rear-ended a car. Both the car and the SUV hit the concrete barrier near Highway 290. The Explorer then flipped over.

"They went over on their side, pinning the driver in the Ford Explorer in the car with his arm under the car," said Michael Wick with the Houston Police Department.

The driver of the Explorer and his passenger went to the hospital with serious injuries. The driver of the car was not hurt.
