Hillary hits Houston

HOUSTON Thursday, democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton was in Houston for two public appearances.

Clinton's appearance came hours after republican candidate John McCain swung through the Bayou City. Each is hoping to see the other one on the campaign trail for the next few months.

Hillary Clinton spoke for about 25 minutes focusing on the economy, security and the environment

Clinton told the room of mostly traditional oil executives and workers it's time for oil companies to become energy companies

Those attending the energy summit remained pretty quiet though did applaud at Clinton's support for oil exploration in the Gulf of Mexico. Most of the loud applause in the room came from a group of supporters drawn to the GRB tonight to see her.
