Was Roger Clemens at Canseco party?

HOUSTON Now there's possibly more evidence that would contradict Clemens congressional testimony. The New York Daily News is reporting that there is a photo of Clemens at the 1998 party at Jose Canseco's home. Clemens said in sworn testimony that he never attended the party.

In the Mitchell Report, Clemens' former trainer Brian McNamee said he saw Clemens, Canseco and a third person talking at the party. McNamee said after the party, Clemens approached him for the first time asking about using steroids.

The Daily News says a boy who was 11 at the time of the party took photos of some of the baseball players in attendance. Clemens' lawyer Rusty Hardin said he turned over evidence to congressional lawyers, including an affidavit from Canseco, that Clemens wasn't there.

The newspaper is reporting that sources have said the congressional committee will likely turn the whole Clemens-McNamee matter to the Justice Department, which is not a good thing for the person who isn't being truthful. I have a call in to Hardin, but haven't heard back yet.
