Rice University police held a meeting yesterday afternoon with other law enforcement agencies to discuss strategy and their first sketch in these cases. Students and neighbors say they plan to walk in pairs.
Another robbery in Rice University area
HOUSTON Yesterday's incident happened on Wilton street near Sunset. Rice University police say since the beginning of 2008, eight people have been robbed at gunpoint in the area. Two of the victims were students, but all of the robberies have taken place in the surrounding neighborhood.
