Computer tech spots kiddie porn

THE WOODLANDS, TX (KTRK) On Wednesday afternoon, a computer technician working at a home on Country Forest Lane spotted something he apparently felt warranted notifying his employer. The tech was scanning the computer for viruses when he reportedly noticed several images that depicted children in provocative poses. The computer company called the Montgomery County Sheriff's department.

Deputies went to the home and got the homeowner's permission to search the residence. They confiscated the computer and other electronic devices that contained images of children.

The homeowner, David Harold Pebernat, 61, was arrested for possession of child pornography -- a third degree felony. Pebernat was taken to the Montgomery County Jail where his bail was set at $20,000. He was still in custody as of Thursday afternoon.
