Adult, child injured in fire at southeast Houston apartment complex

HOUSTON (KTRK) -- Smoke and flames from a burning southeast Houston apartment on Thursday injured an adult and a child.

Firefighters say the fire broke out shortly after 6pm on Zabolio.

The adult had burns, and the child suffered smoke inhalation. It took an hour for crews to tap out the fire.

They're still investigating the cause.
