Suspect in Air Jordan killing reaches plea deal

HOUSTON (KTRK) -- Anthony Quinn Wade reached a plea deal with authorities in the Air Jordan murder case. He was sentenced to 40 years behind bars for aggravated robbery.

Man sentenced to life for Air Jordan murder

A jury sentenced 20-year-old Deron Taylor to life in prison for his role in the murder earlier this month. Taylor will be eligible for parole after 40 years.

A group of friends robbed and shot 22-year-old Joshua Woods for his pair of Air Jordan shoes. Woods had just bought the new sneakers at the Willowbrook Mall back in 2012 when he was targeted.

In February, Neal Bland was found guilty of capital murder in the Woods case.
