Investigators found the woman's body near East Mount Houston and Sheridan Road after calls streamed into 911 around 1:30 p.m.

Harris County deputies said the woman had been missing since late last night, and neighbors tell us she may not have been familiar with the area, since she was visiting friends.

The woman's name hasn't been released, but we are told she was in her 60s.
