Tenants at the Villas Del Paseo apartment complex said they have been without water since the winter storm, and do not feel as though they are getting enough answers from those in charge.
The leasing office has locked their doors and requested that anyone who needs to speak to someone in the office to call the number instead.
An agent at the office told ABC13 over the weekend that they do not have any comment on the ongoing issue with no water.
Residents said when they try to reach out, they are told that plumbers are actively working to try to repair pipes, but there's no exact date or time frame that they can assure the water will be back on.
On Monday, the community manager of Villas del Paseo provided the following statement to ABC13:
"Our hearts are with all Texans and our residents as we all work together to recover from the devastation caused by Storm Uri. We have been working nonstop on behalf of our apartment community residents and will continue to work nonstop until water access is restored. Our 100% focus is on the security and needs of our residents. One of the biggest challenges we are working hard to overcome, like many others throughout Texas, has been the significant shortage and access to necessary material supplies, labor, and resources during this emergency time. We know it is vital for our residents to continue to have a reliable place to live and we are working tirelessly to speed up the process in order to get residents access to the water they need."
