WASHINGTON, D.C. (KTRK) -- The White House says two controversial quotes about immigrants attributed to President Trump were never uttered by the nation's chief executive.
In a report released by the New York Times today, two unnamed officials said Trump suggested during a June meeting that all immigrants from Haiti have AIDS.

The Times also quoted Trump as saying that immigrants from Nigeria would never "go back to their huts."
White House press secretary Sarah Sanders called report "sad," and said it is filled with lies from anonymous sources.
Sanders said several officials who attended the meeting denied Trump made those remarks.

The press secretary said that list includes Secretary of State Rex Tillerson and White House Chief of Staff General John Kelly.
The New York Times said one of the sources was at the meeting, while the other was briefed about the conversation.
