Uber launches service in Houston to allow for wheelchair accessible vehicles

HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) -- Uber is set to launch a new feature to its app on Monday across the city of Houston.

Anyone with a wheelchair-accessible vehicle can sign up to be a driver for Uber Access. The new service will let anyone with a wheelchair use the application to get a ride.

The cost will be the same as a regular Uber ride.
