Officers with the Houston Police Department responded to a shooting at about 8 p.m. on Northline Drive and East Little York.

When officers arrived at the scene, they found three men who had been shot. One of the victims was pronounced dead at the scene.
After looking at surveillance video, investigators said the three victims were seen in a truck driving and waiting in the Northline Point Apartment complex parking lot.
Police said three young men, wearing red, grey, and black hoodies, ambushed the driver.
Two of the armed suspects circled the truck, targeted the driver and began shooting while the suspect wearing the red hoodie fired multiple rounds, striking the three victims and other nearby cars, according to police.
Investigators said the truck sped off and hit two parked cars after being shot.
Two of the three victims ran to the nearby snow cone shop for help, according to HPD.

A witness in the apartment complex, who heard the gunfire, told ABC13 he found the driver in the truck with gunshot wounds and attempted CPR. The driver succumbed to his injuries.
"If there was a chance that I could save his life, I was going to try and save his life, you know," the witness said. "It didn't even matter if they came back. I was already. I already had him on the ground. I was doing chest compressions."
The witness said it sounded like one of the suspects was using an AK-47.
According to HPD, one of the suspects may have gone to Harris Health Lyndon B. Johnson Hospital in the medical center to treat a gunshot wound to the hand.
The two victims were transported to the hospital and their conditions are unknown.
It is unknown if the victims and suspects were planning on meeting up or the nature of their relationship, but police say they appeared to know each other.

Police are searching for three suspects who are described as three Black men who appeared to be in their late teens or early 20s, wearing a red hoodie, a grey hoodie, and a black hoodie. The suspect in the red hoodie has dreadlocks past his shoulders.
