Hillary Clinton and Helen Keller removed from school curriculum by Texas School Board

Sunday, September 16, 2018
The Texas Board of Education has voted to drop Hillary Clinton and Helen Keller from its history curriculum.

The state board says the decision was made to drop multiple historical figures to streamline the curriculum for millions of Texas public school students.

The board says the decision does not prevent teachers from teaching about them, but it's not mandatory.
