SPRING, Texas (KTRK) -- North Shore has not lost a regular season game since Westfield beat the Mustangs in September 2021.
On Friday, in a battle of powerhouse programs, North Shore didn't allow Westfield to trip them up again, winning 45-9.
D'Andre Hardeman propelled North Shore to a 31-9 halftime lead behind his three first-half touchdown runs. Westfield's lone first-half touchdown came on a strike from Miles Dent to Rice-commit Taji Atkins. That cut the North Shore lead to 21-9.

North Shore's Lavonte Johnson hauled in a first-quarter interception to set up an 11-yard TD pass from Kaleb Bailey to Christopher Barnes.
Both teams begin district play in their next contest.
