The Texas A&M Forest Service gave the update hours after SkyEye flew over the so-called Snowhill Fire around FM-946 and Harrell Road, where firefighting aircraft was deployed.

"Forward progression has been stopped and fire activity has diminished," the forest service tweeted.
In its evening update, the forest service also revealed two of its firefighters suffered burn injuries as fire behavior intensified at about 5 p.m. and were rushed to the hospital. Their conditions were not immediately disclosed.
The forest service did not say when the fire was first report or what caused it.

Ground crews from numerous local fire departments were called to the area, along with the U.S. Forest Service.
At one point, crews estimated about eight homes in the area were being threatened amid extremely dry conditions.
San Jacinto County is one of 164 Texas counties under a burn ban, according to the Texas A&M Forest Service.
