Many Texans fans feel it's finally safe to shell out $100 for a Watson jersey, but the Browns continue their search.

As we celebrate the Texans' victory, we take a look back at these teams' frantic search for a franchise quarterback and their sometimes intertwined history.
In the last 10 years, the Browns have started 20 quarterbacks with the Texans starting 12.
In that same time, the Browns have drafted 6 quarterbacks in the first three rounds, while the Texans have only drafted a quarterback that high once.
Who can forget some of the Browns' infamous picks? This of course includes Texas native Johnny Manziel.
The Texans and the Browns have also shared quarterbacks in their search. Brian Hoyer started intermittently for the Browns in 2013 and 2014. The next year, he came to Houston. Many Texans fans still feel the pain of Hoyer's four interceptions in the AFC Wild Card game in which the Texans were shut out by the Chiefs.
The teams also technically shared Brock Osweiler, although he didn't make it past the preseason with the Browns and as all Houston fans will recall that despite a lot of hope and money, he didn't get past one season with the Texans.

This year, both teams selected quarterbacks in their first few draft picks, but the results have been strikingly different.
Houston Texans rookie quarterback Deshaun Watson has started in every game except the first. Watson is already winning with Texans fans and the NFL. The league named Watson AFC offensive player of the week following his huge performance in the team's win against the Tennessee Titans.
Meanwhile, DeShone Kizer will sit the bench this game as forgotten man Kevin Hogan makes his first NFL start, the 28th QB to start a game for the Browns since 1999.
Many Cleveland fans were looking forward to this DeShone vs. Deshaun rookie quarterback showdown, but after four-and-a-half games, Hue Jackson is showing him the bench.
Have the Texans finally found their franchise quarterback and will the Browns ever find one? Only time will tell.
The Texans defeated the Browns 33-17.
