Two weekends ago, hundreds of women -- and even some men -- packed the bubble to show off their best moves and win a spot on the squad next season. Several rounds of auditions later, the massive group was whittled down to just 53 hopefuls.
After a swimwear shoot and one-on-one interviews earlier this week, the chosen girls were announced in front of the media on Tuesday afternoon.
"It gets your adrenaline going, that's for sure. Basically, I'm speechless," Lauren, a second-year cheerleader, said of the audition process. "I am so grateful, and there's literally nothing to lose to come out and have a goal and go after it."
