Former Texan gives back to Hurricane Harvey relief efforts

Wednesday, September 20, 2017
HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) -- Former Texans player Chris Myers made a huge donation to the city of Houston's recovery efforts.

Myers drove a U-Haul full of donations from Philadelphia to Houston.

"It was kind of a weird feeling. You kind of wanted to be down there in the process of going through it with everybody to help in the rebuilding process, at the same time you felt very blessed that you didn't have to deal with it," Myers said. "But after the fact you want to be able to help however you can."

During the journey, Myers had the support of other players including Ben Jones in Nashville and Kevin Walter in Houston.
