ROAD TO RECOVERY: Football coaches help kids return to normalcy after Harvey

Friday, September 22, 2017
HOUSTON (KTRK) -- Many players and coaches on a west Houston pee wee football team flooded out during Hurricane Harvey.

Coaches for the Cowboys team from the Spring Branch-Memorial sports association say 75 percent of the players were flooded out of their homes and rescued by boats. Four of their five coaches were also displaced.

Despite all that, they've come together to give the kids some structure and have a little fun.

They're making it a point to get back to their routine, create normalcy and play football.
