HOUSTON (KTRK) -- An adorable 6-year-old with dreams of becoming a fisherman caught a big one on his line Sunday night at NRG Stadium.

Louis Macey, of Houston, was the victor in Sunday night's Mutton Bustin' competition at RodeoHouston.

A record-setting crowd of 75,557 watched as Macey rode all the way across the contest field, right into the flock.

Macey told Mutton Bustin' host Patti Smith he wasn't scared. Even when he was falling, he just kept holding on tight. Macey ended up with a score of 90.

Like so many who came before him, Macey said his dad helped him prepare by offering rides on his back around the house.

He summed up the secret to winning in just three words: "Grab the fur."
