HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) -- Plans to reopen Space Center Houston have been put on hold.
NASA officials accounted the closure is being extended until further notice thanks to the latest stay-at-home orders from Harris County.

The facility was set to return to business on July 1.
The closure includes camps, programs, and all other events. Ticket holders with timed admission tickets will have a choice of rescheduling or a refund, officials said.

Once Space Center Houston does open back up, a new, permanent exhibit will also be available for view. The SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket, displayed outside, is the same type of rocket NASA astronauts used in May.
