ABC13's Miya Shay at the White House holidays event

WASHINGTON DC (KTRK) -- ABC13's Miya Shay and her husband Texas State Representative Gene Wu attended the White House holidays event.


Christmas cheer has spread to every room of the White House. There's no shortage of beautiful decorations to admire, from gingerbread houses to giant yarn replicas of Obama dogs Sunny and Bo.


The White House hosts between 15-20 events during the holidays season. A variety of people around the country are invited and this year that includes Miya Shay's husband.
