UH Psychology Professor: African Americans more susceptible to mental issues

HOUSTON (KTRK) -- African Americans are 20 percent more likely to experience serious mental health problems than the general population. Major depression, ADHD, suicide and post-traumatic stress disorder are among the more common mental health disorders black people face. Dr. Rheeda Walker, a University of Houston Psychology Professor, discusses why African Americans are more susceptible to mental issues and where to go for help.
