Back in June, Aaron Isaac Mayes was charged with solicitation of a minor, witness tampering and attempted sexual assault of a child.
Now, the 36-year-old faces new counts of attempted sexual abuse, sex performance by a child and online solicitation of a minor regarding a different young victim.
The new charges were filed Dec. 10.
The complainant, who is reportedly 15-years-old, said initially Mayes was posing as a track and field coach and offered her fitness tips. Text messages that started with how to workout moved to a sexual nature.
Court records show the two of them met at a high school track meet where Mayes identified himself as a coach for track and field, and as having inroads with college recruiters.
The defendant then inquired if the victim was allowed to leave the house or if her parents were strict about it. Records show the teen never met up with Mayes because she thought it would be "wrong."
Mayes has already posted bond on the second set of charges. When we knocked on his door Friday night, his aunt spoke to ABC13 through the door. She said she "read about" the new criminal charges but did not have any information. She also said Mayes was not at home.
Precinct 4 Constable investigators believe there could be more victims.
In the first set of charges, Mayes reportedly visited the home of a 16-year-old girl back in March with another deputy to talk to the girl's mother after she had been reported missing.

Although the two deputies discovered the girl was home, records show that the case was mysteriously never closed. An investigation of that case is what let to the initial set of charges.
Mayes was fired from Precinct 4 shortly after that.
