Here are some tips on how to stay safe on the roads:
- Be sure to leave some distance between you and other drivers.
- If you have to drive over bridges and overpasses, keep in mind that they could have ice on them.
- Check your thermometer inside your car. If it's 31 degrees or lower, the roads may have ice on them.
- Make sure your windshield wipers are working before hitting the road.
- And most importantly slow down.
