SPRING, Texas (KTRK) -- Two masked thieves broke into the Bluewater Seafood restaurant in Spring and within minutes they left taking the entire safe with them.

Surveillance video shows the incident play out from multiple angles all within about 90 seconds.

Joshua Sandros works at the restaurant and had closed the previous night only to find out a break-in happened a few hours later.

"They came in through this office door right here and went directly where our safe was," Sandros said.

Sandros said just two months ago, burglars broke in for the first time. The business is now out more than $8,000.

"Just seeing somebody stumble out with this big safe. It was very unusual to watch that footage," Sandros said.

The Harris County Precinct 4 Contable's Office is investigating, but the restaurant hopes by releasing this video someone will help them identify the burglars. They're now offering a $2,000 reward.

Sandros said their loyal customers are showing support and that's encouraging them to keep going.

"It's really inspiring. We have a great community out here. We are really proud of what we have. It's just, it's kind of nice to see we have the support because this is a family business," Sandros said.

The restaurant has a couple of other locations where there have been recent attempted, but unsuccessful burglaries, according to restaurant management.
