3 rescued after car goes into White Oak Bayou

HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) -- Firefighters rescued three people from a car that went into White Oak Bayou on Saturday.

Officials believe the driver suffered a medical problem and veered into the bayou on the Katy Freeway at Studemont.

Bystanders helped a 10-year-old girl out of the car.

Firefighters used ladders and a basket to get the driver and an elderly passenger out of the vehicle.

All three passengers were taken to the hospital.
