A man called police saying his 19-year-old daughter had been sexually assaulted Thursday morning.
According to police, the assault happened on South Anderson Street in Angleton. Police say a masked suspect hopped in her car, forced her to drive a short distance, then get out. He removed his mask and proceeded to commit his crime.
The area surrounding the railroad tracks where the attack happened is dark and tucked away.
There is a fire station just feet away, so they were able to quickly assist and provide police a thermal imaging device to search for evidence.
Police are looking for a black man, approximately 5'7" with a muscular build. If you have any information contact the Angleton Police Department at 979- 849- 2383.
