Don Nigbor lives and owns land nearby. He said he met a man last year who claimed to be the property owner. Nigbor said the gentleman told him he was building an estate with a house across the street for his mother.
"I met him on this road right here. He said he wanted to build a house for his mom," said Nigbor. "The only thing we've seen around here was pickup trucks doing maintenance on this estate. A fight promoter from Houston was building this estate and there were some people doing maintenance. They were mowing the grass."
Nigbor said he never did meet or see the man's mother. Instead, he said they built a structure on the property. It was situated far back from the road.
