The Pasadena Police Department said officers responded to the scene at about 6:20 a.m. in the 200 block of W. Jackson Avenue.
Officials said the victim was found with multiple gunshot wounds in her vehicle and was taken to the hospital.
The department said the suspect is believed to be a "known male" and has not been caught.
Pasadena PD added that the woman is undergoing medical care but did not share her condition.
The motive for the shooting is unknown.
