According to the Harris County Sheriff's Office, Precinct 5 deputies responded to the shooting in the 7400 block of Casuna Lane. Upon arrival, deputies found a man and a woman suffering from gunshot wounds at an intersection, authorities said.
Deputies say that both the man and woman were taken to area hospitals. The woman was pronounced dead, while the man remains in critical condition.
Based on preliminary information, authorities believe that the incident is isolated and is domestic violence-related. At this time, details are limited on what led to the shooting, the identity of the victims, or their relationship to one another.
