HARRIS COUNTY, Texas (KTRK) -- A Louisiana woman is behind bars after a crime spree across east Harris County on Saturday, according to authorities.

The Harris County Sheriff's Office said Chaninthorn Cuney, 43, began the day by carjacking a man at a gas station in the 3700 block of East Sam Houston Parkway.

Surveillance video shows a woman stabbing at the air while standing next to an unoccupied SUV, while a man looks on.

Video shows the woman then approaches a man sitting in a white truck. She opens the door while still holding the knife and the two begin struggling.

According to court documents, she placed the knife against the man's neck at one point.

Surveillance video shows she's eventually able to pull the man from the truck by his arms and takes the wheel.

It's only a matter of seconds before her first crash.

Videos show her driving straight into the SUV she was stabbing at minutes earlier.

She then reverses and drives into the vehicle again, pushing it into a gas pump.

You can see her then reversing onto the Beltway feeder road before driving back into the gas station parking lot and striking a second vehicle.

Police say she drove the stolen truck 13 miles to Baytown, where she crashed into a postal truck on Market Street.

When the postal worker got out to check on her, court documents say she pulled the knife and started making stabbing motions.

She was eventually arrested at the nearby Exxon refinery, where court documents say she rammed one of the gates.

During a probable cause hearing Monday morning, she claimed to be a victim of identity theft when the magistrate asked her if she would like a court-appointed attorney.

Records show Cuney was arrested in 2020 in her native Louisiana, and her alleged crime was also vehicle-related.

The Assumption Parish Sheriff's Office said she used a car to plow into a house and several other cars after getting into an argument.
