HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) -- Newly-released video shows a woman fighting back against a purse snatcher in southeast Houston.
Surveillance video captured the confrontation that happened outside the Whataburger on Harrisburg and 69th Streets on September 19.

The victim held onto her purse and even threw her drink at the robber.
The woman ran into a waiting vehicle and took off.
The Houston Police Department released the video this morning hoping someone recognizes the suspect.
