Loyal spectators said it's a must-see.
"Actually this is about our 22nd time down here," attendee Russell Oliver said.

There were also plenty of first time goers in the crowd.
"My grandson, who is ten, is so excited to see all the planes that he's read about and seen on TV, and the girls are just excited about everything," Cynthia Franklin said.
The crowd was delighted when the Re/Max sky diving team opened the show with a spectacular sky diving entrance.
"It is our honor to be flying the American flag and the Texas flag and some red, white, and blue streamers to open the air show here, the 40th anniversary of the Wings over Houston air show," team captain Al Saylor said.
Area locals, this crew puts the Houston Air Show on their calendar every years. They jumped from a WWII air craft flying over 100 miles an hour and traveled a mile back to earth.
"It's cold, there's no mufflers on the engine, it's loud, and it's windy with 100 mile-an-hour winds, so it's very exciting to jump out of an airplane, especially when you get to come here and see all your friends," Saylor said.
If you missed the Saturday show, you can still catch it on Sunday. Doors open at 8 a.m., and the show begins at 10:30.
Tickets can be purchased for $50 each on the air show website. Children ages 14 and under get in for free.
You're encouraged to park at the Metro Bay, Fuqua, or El Dorado Park and Rides and catch a free shuttle to the front doors to kick back, relax, and enjoy the shows.
