We've featured Dr. Terri Alani's generosity through her dental work, and when it comes to helping patients find their smile again.
Now, however, we are discussing her style, hidden talents, and the upcoming season of The Golden Bachelor with those close to the 71-year-old mother of two.
Morning Anchor, Rita Garcia, checked into her office and spoke with LaDestine Gordon, a registered dental assistant, front desk manager and dear friend of Dr. Alani who says, she's so excited for the viewers to get to know her, "I don't think people realize how fun she really is..."
LaDestine would know. She has worked alongside Dr. Alani for the last 5 years. "She does not believe in love at first sight. She likes to get to know that person. She does have a sixth sense."
Dr. Alani will be alongside 22 other golden women vying for a rose. "Fit, loyal, fun, and adventurous," that's what LaDestine says Dr. Alani is looking for in a partner, plus someone who enjoys traveling too.
Dr. Alani also loves photography and staying active. As the Golden Bachelor will soon learn, she has other hidden talents. "She's good at being a ventriloquist. So, she has this doll that she can like, you know, she brings the doll around, and I'm like, how do you do that?"
Dr. Alani loves animals, too. In fact, she's got a therapy dog, Piper, that helps keep her patients smiling right alongside her as she works.
"I hope she gets what she's looking for. I really hope that she does get love because she deserves love," LaDestine said, and adds that she is just as excited as everyone else to watch Dr. Alani's journey on the show when it returns on Wednesday.
