At around 8:45 a.m. on Thursday, deputies said that Truelove cut herself with a razor, then activated the school's panic alarm, while claiming she had been stabbed by a student.

The Splendora Independent School District said that Truelove was just hired as a social studies teacher this school year.

On Friday, a Montgomery County magistrate also set a $30,000 bond for Truelove.
