2 people arrested after police chase ends in Channelview area, authorities say

HARRIS COUNTY, Texas (KTRK) -- Two people were taken into custody after a police chase that ended in the Channelview area on Wednesday afternoon, according to the Baytown Police Department.

Police say that officers arrested a 24-year-old male driver, who was wanted on an outstanding armed robbery warrant, and is now facing an evading charge. Authorities say that the passenger in the vehicle, who was also arrested, is now charged with evading police on foot.

SkyEye13 was over the scene, showing the chase's end at about 5:20 p.m. near the East Beltway at I-10. Images show a blue vehicle in the front yard of a residence, with law enforcement investigating the scene.



At this time, Baytown PD has not said where the initial chase with law enforcement started.
