HARRIS COUNTY, Texas (KTRK) -- The suspect accused of attacking a Planet Fitness employee in Tomball told investigators that she could not explain why she did it, court documents reveal.

The video above is from a previous report.

According to Harris County records obtained by ABC13, Yamilet Rubio Carcamo was arrested after a video showed her punching a Planet Fitness employee on April 21 at the location off of Tomball Parkway and Louetta Road. The video that was sent to Eyewitness News showed that Carcamo allegedly threw the employee to the floor and started punching her.

Carcamo was arrested on Friday and charged with assault causing bodily injury by HCSO's Violent Criminal Apprehension Team.

Records show that when investigators spoke with Carcamo, she told them she could not explain what happened because it happened so fast. Carcamo said that she felt attacked and harassed but could not or would not say by whom or what, records show.

Carcamo then told investigators that she felt off and did not want to get into trouble because of how she acts or is, documents state, adding that she said she kept getting in trouble for the same reasons.

Documents show that Carcamo told investigators, "I felt like I had to do something to her," and "I got her." When investigators asked Carcamo to clarify, she did not, stating that she did not know her.

Eyewitness News spoke with the victim and her family earlier this month.

"It's definitely scary. I've never really been in a situation like this," the victim, who did not want to be identified out of fear of retaliation, said.

She told ABC13 she does not know the woman who attacked her that day.

The victim's mother said they immediately filed a police report with the Harris County Precinct 4 Constable's Office and were later told the case was passed off to the Harris County Sheriff's Office.

"It's affected me because I can barely walk, I can hardly stand sometimes without my knee hurting or sending a shooting pain up my leg," the victim said.
