ROSHARON, Texas (KTRK) -- For a group of thrill-seekers entering the retirement phase of their lives, slowing down is not part of their plan. They are part of a worldwide group called Skydivers Over Sixty and together soared into the record books.
In August 2026, 38 members of Skydivers Over Sixty, also known as SOS, completed a world-record skydive that required them to perform two formations while falling through the sky successfully.
The jump set a new record for the largest full-break sequential skydive by athletes over the age of 60.
"When we throw ourselves out of the plane, it's pure bliss," Skydiver Rennay Blizzard recalls. "There's nothing like it."
In the video above, ABC13 Localish visited the group during one of their record-breaking attempts at Skydive Spaceland in Rosharon, Texas. The group shared with us what keeps them heading back to the skies.
