According to deputies, the call for a shooting inside the mall dropped shortly before 7 p.m. HCSO said it was responding along with the Humble Police Department, which is the lead agency in the investigation.
Harris County Precinct 4 Constable Mark Herman, whose agency is assisting the investigation, later said that one person was shot and another person was detained. Precinct 4 is one of the multiple agencies responding and assisting Humble PD.
Authorities did not share further information on the victim and potential suspect.
