Thirty-two-year-old Jaime Garcia was first arrested earlier this month after investigators say he shot and killed Christopher Walsh on July 2. Walsh, a plumber, went to Garcia's parents' home on Cathie Drive to fix a leak. Investigators say Garcia didn't know the plumber, and they have no motive for the shooting at this time.

According to the Harris County Sheriff's Office, as Garcia was facing the murder charge for Walsh's death, he was charged last week for a different shooting death involving 41-year-old Francisco Navarro. Navarro was found dead inside a vehicle in the 1300 block of Patch on May 26.
On Monday, Garcia's charge in the Navarro murder was dropped after a judge found no probable cause.
Eyewitness News has reached out to HCSO for additional information. On Monday, the district attorney's office sent a statement that read in part:
"The magistrate did not find probable cause for one of Garcia's murders. But the DA's office is still exploring different avenues to refile the case."
