HARRIS COUNTY, Texas (KTRK) -- A woman died, and a man and three children were hurt after she ran a red light and caused a rollover crash in Sheldon, according to the Harris County Sheriff's Office.

Investigators said the crash happened Saturday morning at the intersection of Beaumont Highway and Sheldon Road.

According to HCSO, the woman, identified as Priscila Torres Almaguer, was driving a GMC pickup truck. They added that the man she hit was driving a Ford pickup.

Investigators said Torres Almaguer ran a red light while heading west on Beaumont Highway, hit the Ford, and her GMC rolled over.

Authorities said Torres Almaguer was trapped inside the truck and had to be freed, but she was pronounced dead at the scene.

Three children and her common-law husband were also in the GMC with her, according to the sheriff's office.

Deputies said that all four were taken to the hospital and stabilized.

The sheriff's office said the Vehicular Crimes Division is investigating the crash. They did not say if the Ford's driver was injured.
