HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) -- Houston police said they're searching for an angry customer who is accused of shooting at a restaurant and injuring a bystander after he was kicked out.
Police said the restaurant's owner kicked the suspect and his nephew out after they got intoxicated at the restaurant on Beechnut near Corporate in the Chinatown area of southwest Houston around 11:30 p.m. Saturday.
Officers said the suspect went to his vehicle, got a gun, and began shooting at the place. Investigators said a man who wasn't involved got shot.
According to police, the victim was shot in the torso and leg. That man is still alive, authorities said.
Officers said they know who the shooter is, but they haven't released his identity. He isn't in custody, according to police.
