"There's a turkey between 4th and F and then 5th and F that's running around chasing after people," says another caller.

Authorities estimate that as many as 100 wild turkeys are roaming the streets of the northern California town. Dozens are known to regularly congregate in a city cemetery.

City council members recently approved a turkey management plan that will work to keep the burgeoning bird colony under control.
