SEALY, TX (KTRK) -- Police say an 18-wheeler crashed into a bridge in Sealy causing a bridge to collapse on a car.
Bridge collapse near Sealy kills child, injures woman

A 12-year-old girl has died from her injuries. Another child was able to get out safely. The female driver was taken by Life Flight to the hospital with a chest injury.

Investigators say part of the overpass fell on top of their vehicle after the disposal truck's boom struck the overpass, causing the collapse.
