HOUSTON (KTRK) -- Pitmaker, the BBQ winners at the 2013 World Food Championships, showed ABC-13 the steps it takes to make competition bar-b-que.

Their delicious chicken involves multi-layers of seasoning before being cooked to perfection.


The team also submitted brisket and several other items to this year's World's Championship Bar-B-Que Contest at the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo, including Katherine Whaley's Dutch Oven Dessert.

ABC-13's Katherine Whaley teamed up with the crew from Pitmaker to enter one of her delicious recipies in the Dutch oven dessert category at the World's Championship Bar-B-Que cookoff
