Petition urging In-N-Out to add veggie burger reaches 35,000 signatures

A change.org petition asking iconic burger chain In-N-Out to offer a vegetarian burger has received over 35,000 signatures since Tuesday.

Good Food Institute, which created the petition, hopes that In-N-Out would bring a "healthy, humane, and sustainable option!"

"As a company that prides itself on both customer satisfaction and ethical business practices, adding a meat-free option is a no-brainer," the institute said on the petition.

The petition has brought a variety of reactions on social media ranging from excitement at the possibility of a vegetarian option at the restaurant to others not wanting the classic burger joint to change.
