Man injured, woman detained after stabbing at Walmart in north Houston, HPD says

HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) -- A man was injured, and a woman was detained after a reported stabbing at a Walmart store in north Houston, according to the Houston Police Department.

Officers said the call for a possible assault was reported at the store at 4412 North Freeway at around 2:30 p.m. on Thursday.

HPD said the man was taken to the hospital, but did not say his condition.

A sergeant with HPD's Major Assaults Division confirmed they are responding to the call.

Video obtained by Eyewitness News shows the moments after the stabbing, including blood in the aisles and paramedics treating a victim inside an ambulance.
